South Boston Priest Arrested and Suspended of Duties for Sharing Child Porn on Church Computers

Reports from Boston have come in that the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston has suspended the Rev. Andrzej Urbaniak whose charged with having child pornography and it involving images of preteen girls on a rectory computer.

The 39, year old  Urbaniak pleaded not guilty Wednesday in South Boston District Court.
His bail was set bail at $15,000 cash by a judge and if Urbaniak is released, he will have to wear a GPS monitoring device along with surrendering his passport, and avoiding children and the internet.
Boston.com reported:
Rev. Urbaniak, the pastor of Our Lady of Czestochowa in South Boston, was arrested Tuesday after a two-month investigation of 'peer-to-peer' child pornography sharing networks found files linked to the rectory computer.
The archdiocese said Urbaniak has been placed on administrative leave and barred from functioning as a priest during the investigation. The archdiocese has also informed the head of his order in Poland, the Order of Friars Minor Conventual.
In a statement, the archdiocese said:
"The archdiocese is fully cooperating with law enforcement. The church prays for all those impacted by these events and is committed to providing for the pastoral care of the parish during this difficult time."
We knew this was coming and here we are again. God is cleaning house and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it.
