Donna Creer Stage Four Cancer Diagnosis One Week Before Fire

Donna Creer Stage Four Cancer Diagnosis One Week Before Fire

Donna Creer's Facebook is filled with loving remarks about a selfless and kind woman to all people this today and the day of the fire on Wednesday. While thumbing through her page, we found prayers for her from friends while she battled cancer.

Eurweb.com reported that Donna Creer was just released from the ICU on Tuesday after spending one week there, according to a friend Tammy Taylor. The friend stated there was a call for prayer for her healing over the internet.

One prayer for her healing went like this from her Facebok page by a friend A.N.:
Most gracious and heavenly Father in your name we confess you as our Savior. You are the bread of heaven, the resurrection and the life. Lord, your reputation is that of a miracle worker, and we are asking for a miracle right now! Healing is the children’s bread! We ask for your restoration power to be manifested right now! We ask you Lord Jesus, by the blood that was shed on Calvary, that you heal Donna’s body, you revealed to us that you have taken up all our infirmities and sorrow and that by your stripes we are healed. Heal Donna today, Father by faith we seal this prayer for healing and we claim nothing but victory in the magnificent name of Jesus, amen and Praise God. I love you Donna! Source

As you can see, friends were reaching out in prayer for her healing just days before her sudden death.
She had just found out that doctors had missed a mass in her body that was stage 4 cancer which had advanced to her lungs at the time. Creer had planned to begin treatments for the cancer but the fire broke out at the home the night after she came home from the hospital.

We do not know much more than this for now but will update you as soon as we find out more.

May The Creers rest in peace!

Little Rock's Donald Creer May Have Not Taken Wife's Cancer Diagnosis Well

Little Rock's Donald Creer May Have Not Taken Wife's Cancer Diagnosis Well

We are trying to find out what and who caused the fire at the home of gospels Donna and Donald Creer in Little Rock on Wednesday morning. In a news report by THV 11 in Little Rock, they say one neighbor suggested that the husband, Donald Creer allegedly had a hard time accepting his wife's cancer diagnosis. The neighbor also said that the deaths may have been planned.

KATV reported that Donna was diagnosed with stage four cancer last Thursday.

The home was caused by arson, firefighters say. In our first report, news reports stated that firefighters found a sliding door was unlocked but can't say if there was forced entry or not. They say they did find some things that were suspicious in the home but will not reveal .

We will update on this story as it unfolds.

This is such a shame and we know this was planned out by someone with evil intentions to kill the couple. We are waiting to hear what really happened and who caused it.

The Little Rock Police said fire department investigators found a house fire at 405 Markwood Road at 3:11 a.m. belonging to Donald Creer, 50, and Donna Creer, 57.  The circumstances of the fire are now considered 'suspicious.'

Firefighters reported that once they were on the scene, they removed both bodies and they were taken to area hospitals. Both Donald and Donna were pronounced dead at their respective hospitals. There did not appear to be injuries to the victims, but a cause of death has not been determined, firefighters say.

Reports say:
While on scene, firefighters also noticed a sliding glass door at the back of the house that was unlocked. At this time, Davis said it is unclear what occurred inside the residence, but police do not suspect the fire to be accidental. Firefighters and police have not determined a motive or suspects in this case.

"He was the ying for her yang. They complemented each other very well," said Reverend Clarence Thornton, a pastor and radio disc jockey in Arkansas. "Donna was the public one, and he was more of the private."
The Christian Post reported facts about the Donna Creer's career:
Donna Creer, inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame, is credited with impacting the gospel music industry through a career that saw her direct programming at several faith-based Arkansas radio stations. She also served as president of the Arkansas Gospel Announcers Guild and second vice chair of the Gospel Announcers Guild of the Gospel Music Workshop of America. Most recently, Creer was serving as an executive director at Magnet Schools of America, an organization representing 2,000 magnet schools across the U.S. Creer had previously served as president of the organization.
Rev. Thornton also told the news reporters that Donald Creer, her husband, was a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines and was also an opera singer. The couple and that the two had no children. He had been friends with the Creers for more than 20 years.
"I was close with her husband as well. Donald. He was an energetic type guy. We would go walking together," Thornton recalled. "In the mornings we were both trying to lose weight, and at 5 o'clock in the morning, he would pick me up, and he's like 'Good Morning, Reverend! Good Morning!' And, I'm like 'Really? It's 5 o'clock in the morning.'"

Pastor Chris Allen Phillips arrested

Hanover Pastor Chris Allen Phillips Caught in Online Sex for Cash Scheme, Arrested for Embezzling Church

According to reports, there's an ongoing investigation into an alleged online sex-for-money and extortion scheme has led to the arrest of a Hanover County church pastor who allegedly paid a Henrico County woman $100,000 to keep quiet about a sexual encounter he had with her last year.

Pastor Chris Allen Phillips was arrested Thursday night and charged with embezzling $80,000 from his church, the Mechanicsville Advent Christian Church, says the felony warrant.

Phillips was ordered to return for a court appearance June 5 after posting a $6,000 bond.
The Times Dispatch reports:
He was named in court documents linked to the arrest earlier this month of Tonya Farnsworth, 33. She was arrested in Florida after fleeing Henrico, where she faced a prostitution charge. In Hanover, she has been charged with extorting as much as $100,000 from Phillips who cooperated in an investigation of Farnsworth sometime after court documents allege he paid her $200 for oral sex in December last year.
A church elder said this week that Phillips has been placed on leave without pay as the church's youth minister but declined further comment about why Phillips was relieved.
Phillips told Hanover investigators that he paid Farnsworth as much as $100,000, according to a search warrant. His arrest Thursday night on the embezzlement charge indicates some portion of that money came from his church.
Farnsworth operated from a home on West Club Drive in Henrico's West End and advertised her services on Backpage.com using the name Tiffany.
Wow! These pastors kill us how they have no shame in their game.

Bay Area Youth Minister Arrested in Florida Prostitution Bust

Report from NBC Bay Area:

A San Leandro youth pastor was among dozens arrested during a massive prostitution sweep last week in Florida, who was in Orlando for a ministers conference.

Samuel Yoon, 45, who works at New Community Mission Church, a Southern Baptist church in San Mateo, was arrested May 8 as part of an undercover sting in Polk County, Fla.  In all, 92 people were arrested in a span of four days.

Yoon could not be reached for immediate comment, but a pastor at his predominantly Korean church told NBC Bay Area on Thursday that was was surprised at the allegations.
Yeong Kwon called Yoon a "good guy."

According to Kwon, Yoon has worked for six years at the church and oversees 40 youngsters.
Sheriff's deputies said Yoon responded to an ad posted by an undercover detective offering women for sale. Authorities say that he was looking to have sex with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl. He was in Orlando at the time, authorities said, to attend a youth ministry conference. He was arrested on charges of traveling to meet a minor, using a computer to solicit a felony, lewdness.
He has no prior criminal history, according to authorities.

Another key suspect in the prostitution was Mohammed Ahmed, originally from Illinois, who was on his honeymoon when he answered to an ad from an undercover detective posing as a prostitute, authorities said. When the 21-year-old man did not return to the hotel, his wife reported him missing, the sheriff's office said. His wife was later notified that he had been charged with prostitution and possession of marijuana.

Others arrested included 12 “pimps” who brought prostitutes to the undercover location, 39 prostitutes, 39 people who were willing to pay for sex from prostitutes and two others who went with suspects to the undercover location and were arrested on other charges, the sheriff’s office said.
The investigation took place from May 8 through May 11. Ahmed and Yoon were released from jail.
