Creflo Dollar’s Battery Charges from Daughter’s Alleged Assault Dropped

It seems mega-church pastor Creflo Dollar Jr.'s simple battery charge from last years scuffle with his daughter has been dismissed, says Fayette County State Court Solicitor Jamie K. Inagawa confirmed on Thursday. The reason for the dismissal is due to Dollar recently completing a three-month, pre-trial intervention program that allowed him to avoid court.

Benny Hinn's Younger Brother Pastor Sam Hinn Steps Down, Accused Having an Affair

Benny Hinn's Younger Brother Pastor Sam Hinn Steps Down, Accused Having an Affair

It was long ago that Benny Hinn hit the news about his alleged affair with Pastor Paula White and he was divorced by his wife. Though he and his wife have since reconciled, they called off their remarriage until another date. Now, it seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree while his younger brother is in the public eye with a sex scandal of his own. Why do many of these pastors find themselves in so much trouble and in many cases its a church sex scandal that seems to be the culprit?

Read more below about this new church scandal with young bro, Sam Hinn.

News reports say popular televangelist and healer Benny Hinn's brother had to step down from being pastor due to accusations of having an affair.

Benny Hinn's brother, Pastor Sam Hinn of The Gathering Place Worship Center in Sanford, Florida, is accused of engaging in a four-year affair with a member of his church. Reports say his wife and church officials confronted him which prompted his stepping down from the pulpit, says the woman's family.

Chantel Wonder is the daughter of the woman who has allegedly had an affair with Hinn's younger brother. She says the pastor initiated the affair with her mother by telling her they were "soul mates" and that God approved of the relationship.
"He put her in a position that this is OK because it's what God wants. He was using God to justify it," said Wonder.
Pastor Hinn, 51, founded The Gathering Place Worship Center in 1996, about five years before Wonder's family joined.
pastor sam hinn affair

Wonder said her father became aware of the affair in December 2008 after he found text and voice messages from Hinn on his wife's phone. At the time, his wife denied the affair. The couple, who were married June 20, 1980, divorced on Feb. 14, 2012.
The Orlando Sentinel reported:

Wonder said Hinn, who is married and has four children, continued the affair after her parents divorced. She said church officials confronted Hinn with evidence of the affair in December 2012, but he refused to admit he was involved with the woman.
On Jan. 14, Hinn denied the allegations of an affair to his wife, but promised not to talk to the woman again, Wonder said. Later the same day, she said, Hinn's car was photographed parked outside her mother's apartment.
On Wednesday, church officials read a letter to the congregation from Hinn that said he had ended a relationship and was temporarily stepping down from the ministry to devote more time to his marriage. Officials said an outside pastor would be ministering to Sam Hinn during his "restoration process."
"He'll be back in a couple of months as senior pastor, and that's just not right," said Chantel Wonder, who fears the church will shift all the blame on her mother.

NM Pastor's Son Murders Father, Mother and Three of His Siblings

NM Pastor's Son Murders Father, Mother and Three of His Siblings

A New Mexico teenager has been accused and charged with murdering his pastor father, his mother, and three of his nine siblings on Saturday night in Albuquerque.

Christianity Today reports:

Nehemiah Griego, 15, was arrested after allegedly shooting his father, former Calvary Albuquerque pastor Gregory Griego, as well as four other family members--presumed to be his mother and three elementary-school-aged siblings--with an assault rifle at their Albuquerque home. Griego took a leave of absence from the church, one of New Mexico's largest, last year.

The family posted this on Facebook thru Buzz Feed:

I'm Torn on what to say about the shooting deaths of Greg Griego, his loving wife Sara, and 3 of their beautiful young children. One of their sons is the suspect, and reportedly has confessed. There are other details I just don't feel comfortable in sharing, out of respect for the family, and the legal process. I know a lot of you are wondering what happened & why. We may never know fully or completely. He was a friend, & This I DO know: Greg was an ex con and former Gangbanger who Completely turned his life around through his Faith in Jesus. Greg, with the full support & blessing of his wife and family, spent the rest of his life visiting Jails & Prisons, sharing his story and changing Lives through the Love of Christ. He became a Chaplain & Pastor, and worked tirelessly at MDC in what used to be called "The God Pod". He encouraged and mentored so many of us in the Jail Ministries over the years. I can't pretend to speak for him...but I KNOW he would have asked us to Forgive the one who did this awful thing, because he never thought it was too late to change a person's heart & mind. Greg knew he himself was imperfect, and I know he struggled with his faults (as we all do) over the years. I also know he never believed there was Any man beyond the redemption of Jesus. Please honor his memory & life's work, by showing Love, Compassion & Forgiveness to those who have done wrong & even horrible things. Let us all Fast & Pray, and examine our hearts towards those who commit crimes, have mental illness, and feel hopelessly alone. May our Great & Mighty God protect us all, and see us through this darkness.
We are praying for the family and their loss. We also pray for the suspect because he truly needs help. May God bless them.

Bridgeport Priest Indicted For Drug Trafficking

Monsignor Kevin Wallin, indicted on drug trafficking

Bridgeport Priest Indicted For Drug Trafficking

We haven't heard it all when it comes to crooked and misbehaving priests and pastors. Now, here's a story about a priest accused and charged with selling narcotics! We can't believe there are drug dealers in the pulpits! Take a read below about the details.

Monsignor Kevin Wallin, may have resigned from being pastor of a local church but he is among five people indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly conspiring to distribute methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s office said Wednesday.

Wallin, who resigned as pastor of St. Augustine Parish in Bridgeport, Conn., in June 2011, was arrested Jan. 3. The priest was charged with six counts of possession with intent to distribute crystal drugs.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s office, they have found Wallin was receiving shipments of crystal meth from a California distributor and selling it to an undercover officer six times between September 2012 and January 2013.

NBC News reported:
If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $2 million.
According to the Diocese of Bridgeport, Wallin, 61, resigned from his post after nine years, telling parishioners “that he was struggling with a number of health and personal issues” and he was granted a sabbatical.
“During his sabbatical, the diocese became concerned about Msgr. Wallin’s well being and have continued to reach out to him,” the diocese said in a statement. “To date, he has not spoken directly with diocesan officials.”
We hope that he learns from this and realizes that this is a bad example on the diocese and what others feel who look up to him.

White Virginia Teen Admits He Helped Set Fire to Black Pentecostal Church

In court last week, a Virginia teenager admitted to setting a church known to have a predominately black congregation on fire.

According to WDBJ News, Jean-Claude Bridges, whose now 18, pleaded guilty to starting the fire at The New Holy Deliverance Outreach Ministry in Axton, Va.

Bridges said that he and another teen were responsible for setting the fire in the early morning hours on May 20.

According to a recent press release, cited by the Martinsville Bulletin, United States Attorney Timothy J. Heaphy said Bridges admitted that “he burned down the church because of the race, color and ethnicity of its congregation.”
“Mr. Bridges’ racial bias led him to commit the dangerous crime of arson,” Heaphy said, according to the release.
“When he set fire to the New Holy Deliverance Outreach Ministry, he endangered neighbors and first responders. This act of prejudice offended the entire community. This office will protect the civil rights of everyone and vigorously prosecute crimes like that committed by Mr. Bridges. Racism has no place in Axton or anywhere else in the Western District of Virginia,” Heaphy continued.
Jean-Claude Bridges could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison and/or face fine of up to $250,000.

Church Scandal Reports: From Priests Names Revealed to Priest Child Porn Charges Dropped

Below are three stories of priest in the news regarding child sex abuse.

U.S. Judge demands Church reveal names of priests accused of child abuse

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has stressed they have complied and that “much of the information in question has already been made public”

The judge has ordered the Catholic Church of Los Angeles to turn over the names of priests accused of molesting minors. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has said it will respect Judge Emilie Elias’ decision, which reverses a ruling by retired Judge Dickran Tevrizian, who forbade the publication of the names of the hierarchy for fear they could be used to embarrass the Church further.

Elias, on the other hand, stated that the public has the right to be informed about how the Archdiocese has handled the sex abuse issue, and therefore ordered that all deleted names be re-inserted in the relevant documents. “We are now working with all parties involved to facilitate the release of the documents as promptly as possible,” an archdiocese communiqué reads. Child porn charges against priest dropped

Child pornography charges against a former Evergreen Catholic priest have been dropped with a deferred prosecution agreement approved by Flathead County Attorney Ed Corrigan.

The Rev. Rudy Bullman was charged last Feb. 29 with felony sexual abuse of children after a handheld game console he reportedly sold was found to have photographs of nude boys on it.
But the charge was dismissed on Wednesday, Jan. 2, with the deferred prosecution agreement that requires Bullman to live up to a series of conditions for the next three years.

Bullman was a priest at Risen Christ Parish in Evergreen for about 10 years before he was placed on administrative leave by the Diocese of Helena in December 2011.
The agreement requires Bullman to participate in counseling,...Read more here.

Former Derry priest leaves post after allegations

An allegation of sexual abuse dating to the late 1980s in St. Thomas Aquinas Parish has forced a Franciscan priest from his college administrative post in Pennsylvania.

The Rev. Michael Ledoux, 55, never admitted doing anything wrong and has said he was innocent as recently as last week.

But when confronted with the possibility of an investigation into the matter by his superiors at Widener University last summer, Ledoux resigned his post, Widener spokesman Dan Hanson said yesterday.

“He was told he would be placed on administrative leave, pending the investigation,” Hanson said.
“He chose to resign.”

The allegation was first reported a decade ago to New Hampshire church officials by Boston attorney Carmen Durso, representing a man who accused Ledoux of abusing him in St. Thomas Aquinas Parish when he was a teenager. Read more here.

Springfield Priest Hand Cuffed And Gagged In Church Calls 911 for Help [Video]

Springfield Priest Hand Cuffed And Gagged In Church Calls 911 for Help [Video]

Reports have come in about a gagged priest at Springfield’s St. Aloysius church called 911 late last year and asked them for help because he had been “playing” with handcuffs and he got stuck. Audio of Father Tom Donovan’s Nov. 28 911 call was published by the Illinois Times on Thursday.
“I’m stuck in a pair of handcuffs and I’m going to need help getting out before it becomes a medical emergency,” Donovan tells the dispatcher in a muffled voice.
Abbey-Roads also reports a spokesperson from the diocese told the media that on Jan. 10, Father Tom Donovan, pastor of St. Aloysius Church in Springfield, approached Bishop Thomas Paprocki about the incident prior to Christmas and before it attracted media attention.

It was said the priest “asked for help and was granted leave to deal with personal issues.” She added that he is “away from the parish.” Though the police gave assistance to the priest, the incident report indicated that there was no crime committed. Police said the priest was wearing an orange jumpsuit and a mask with a gag in his mouth, the St. Louis NBC affiliate KSDK reports.

AT2W's Take: We may never know the real story behind why the priest was handcuffed along with accessories used for bondage but we all can speculate that it could not have been anything of good spirits coming out of this. What is the church coming to when they play these type of games in the house of God and disrespect his honor?
Watch the video below for the details and hear the priest's voice on the 911 call:

PA Presbyterian Church Opens Doors After The Murder of Organist in Sanctuary

We thank God this church can move on from the recent tragedy at their church. We pray they continue to move on and praise God as they had in the past. The First United Presbyterian Church of Coudersport in Pennsylvania has reopened its doors Sunday, after being closed for over 30 days. The church's organist was shot to death inside the church building which caused the doors to be closed since the murder.
“The one act of violence has not controlled us, we remain strong, and faithful, and God’s light continues to shine it was not put out,” said Reverend Evon Lloyd, First United Presbyterian Church.
The church's organist, 53-year old Darlene-Sitler was shot and killed during Sunday service on December 2nd. It was her ex-husband, 52-year-old Gregory Eldred, who has been charged with first degree murder in connection with her death. Sunday, the congregation lit a candle in Sitler’s memory.
“Darlene was a joyous, generous, enthusiastic, exuberant person…for her to be with her Church family, and doing what she loved when she died, was horrific but it was a gift, and for this congregation to support her in that, gives me a lot of comfort,” said Rev Lloyd.
As part of her message to the congregation, Reverend Lloyd expressed her deepest appreciation for the continued support from those around the globe, as well as from other area churches, and community members here at home.
“A violent evil act does not have the last word, God’s love and grace has the last word and the love and grace has been overwhelming from every corner,” said Rev Lloyd.

AME Church Committee Rules Partly in Pastor John J. Hunter's Side

The drama never ceases to end while the people of God want a place to worship, there are still politics being played about who will pastor what church, where and when.

The L.A. Times reports the Rev. John J. Hunter, who was abruptly reassigned as pastor of the oldest black church in Los Angeles, has one at least one victory. In earlier news, Hunter had petitioned to reclaim his position at the First African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Hunter was partly sided by a nine-member church judicial panel when they found that his new church, Bethel San Francisco, was 'out of line' when it physically blocked him from taking the pulpit.

Though the committee has made some stride to side with Hunter on this one issue, they have not yet issued a decision on the most contentious charge made by Hunter that Bishop T. Larry Kirkland violated the Minister's Bill of Rights by abruptly transferring him without the proper 90-day notice, says the L.A. Times.

The report goes on to state:

A ruling in Hunter's favor could give the 55-year-old pastor the support he needs to get reinstated as the head of First AME, a position he has held for the last eight years.

Hunter has maintained that his reassignment was improper and that church law requires him to be moved to a church of equal or greater status. Bethel San Francisco's congregation is 650 members, compared with the 19,000-member church in Los Angeles.

So, church law states a pastor of the A.M.E church should be reassigned to another of 'equal or greater status'? What are we doing here? This seems more like trading goods and services than leading God's people to the kingdom. But of course, the modern day corporate church is run like a business and this is exactly that- a corporation for business! May God help us all!

Scandalized Victory Christian Center says Mother of Rape Victim Shouldn't Collect Damages in Case

Scandalized Victory Christian Center says Mother of Rape Victim Shouldn't Collect Damages in Case

The Tulsa, OK megachurch, Victory Christian Center, is asking that the local county courthouse to dismiss a civil lawsuit against them regarding the alleged cover up of the rape of a 13-year-old girl.
The church is also arguing that the girl's mother, who wasn't named, is not entitled to the $75,000 she is claiming in damages.

As reported in July 2012, Chris Denman, a 20-year old former employee of the church was arrested for allegedly raping a 13-year old girl in a stairwell on the ministry's main campus. The young man was also charged with molesting a 15-year-old girl, and for a separate crime where he used a computer to make a lewd proposal to a child and committing a sex crime involving a 12-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 55 years in prison after pleading guilty to the charges.

However, the mother of the assaulted 13-year-old girl filed a lawsuit against the church in October, accusing Victory Christian Center of failing to report the crime on time.
"Rather than contacting the appropriate authorities, defendant (Victory Christian Center) chose to conduct its own 'investigation' with the ultimate purpose of doing damage control as opposed to protecting the victim", the lawsuit reads.

The case against Victory Christian Center involved five current members of the megachurch, including youth pastors Charica Dene Daugherty and John Samuel Daugherty, the son and daughter-in-law of the church's senior pastor Sharon Daugherty, who are both facing changes for taking up to two weeks to report the stairwell rape.

Former Pastor Jack Schaap Blames Church Related Stress and Depression on Statutory Rape

pastor schaap makes excuses why he had an affair with a teen from his church
Former Pastor Jack Schaap Blames Church Related Stress and Depression on Statutory Rape

First Baptist Church in Hammond, Ind., has responded to former pastor Jack Schaap's claims that it was depression and church-related stress that led him to an affair with a 16-year-old girl. Church representatives are appalled and say nothing excuses his "sinful actions."
"Yes he was under a tremendous amount of stress such as anyone who runs an international ministry, however this does not excuse his behavior," Eddie Wilson, spokesperson for FBC Hammond, shared with The Christian Post on Tuesday.
"He was a gifted leader who led the church to start many new ministries, and the church experienced growth under his leadership, but this does not give anyone the right to justify sinful actions," Wilson added.
In September, Schaap, 55, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to transporting a minor across state lines for sexual relations. It's unbelieveable that the former pastor told the court that financial troubles at First Baptist Hammond put him in a depression and eventually led to a month-long affair with a teenage girl. Schaap also claimed that he was working over 100 hours a week at the church, where the many employees were laid off.
Pastor Schaap's sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 15, although assistant U.S. Attorney Jill Rochelle Koster has asked the judge for a 45-day continuance in Schaap's sentencing due to the lengthy filing.
Wow, Schaap! How can you make excuses for doing wrong, especially sexual molestation? It never ceases to amaze us how some will come up with any excuse to try and get out of the hole they dug up for themselves.

West Palm Beach A.M.E Pastor Attacked and Robbed inside Church

Man accused of robbing pastor at suburban West Palm Beach church

West Palm Beach A.M.E Pastor Attacked and Robbed in Church

A man is in custody after authorities say he assaulted and robbed a pastor in suburban West Palm Beach on last Sunday night.

The pastor of St. Paul A.M.E church in West Palm Beach, Florida was robbed and attacked.

A man the police say is the suspect, Richard L. Emanuel, of West Palm Beach, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail Tuesday evening. Manuel faces robbery and aggravated battery charges and his bond is set at $50,000 for the battery charge, though he was refused bond for the robbery charge.

The pastor said he was changing in his office at the church located in the 3300 block of Haverhill Road at about 10:18 p.m. Sunday when he was suddenly struck in the back of the head. He fought with the attacker, who eventually ripped a gold necklace from his neck, took his gold bracelet and gold Invicta watch before fleeing.

The attacker Emanuel, 53, was said to be armed with a steel bar and was wearing a black sweatshirt, a black ski mask, sunglasses and black gloves during the attack.

After sheriffs arrive, the pastor was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center to receive treatment for contusions and other injuries he suffered during the attack.
The deputy said he saw a white van leaving the church parking lot around the time he heard reports of the attack, so he followed the van, which hit a parked vehicle as it left. He and other deputies later stopped the vehicle. Emanuel was behind the wheel, but instead of the black sweatshirt, he was wearing a red shirt.

Though Emanuel said refused a DNA test and questioning when apprehended on Tuesday, he could not find the evidence he wore inside the white van he was stopped in that day.

Officers found what he was wearing the day of the attack and also found the pastor’s bracelet and watch.

Note: The photo above of the church is on St. Paul AME church website at the location of the attack but the same photo is used on another church website for a Seven Day Adventist church.

Bishop Wayne T. Jackson Consecrates Men By Laying on Top of Them in Death Ritual?

Bishop Wayne T. Jackson of Greater Faith International Ministries (greatfaithondemand.com) performs a consecration which appears to be a roman catholic ceremony. If this is the case, then we all know that the Roman Catholic church has has a long history of homosexual acts that have now uncovered over the years because it seemed as though the church was breeding in it. (Lev. 18:22)

masonic death ritual

The owner of the video says this is a Masonic death ritual. If this is true then we can see how some black preachers are tied into it because many Christian black pastors are a part of the Free Masons.

Either way, we are discussed by the actions of Bishop Wayne Jackson because it clearly looks like a manipulation and sexual misdeeds right in the church. In some ways, this is next to Bishop Eddie Long's trouble. It's just right up front and in our faces! This, ladies and gentlemen is what is becoming of many of the churches today: Vile and sacrilegious!!

We can not see how the congregation is praising this on in the midst. It appears to be sexually oriented and non-Christian based and has has no place in the church. Shame on Bishop Jackson for his outrageous behavior.

If you can watch it through, (we couldn't), here's the video below:

Video: Pastor Perry Stone Allegedly Talks Worldwide Mark of the Beast by 2017

This is a forewarning to all pastors and bishops of some black churches whom have chosen to be followers instead of leaders of God's Word.  You were never suppose to compromise Christianity, in order to be accepted among your colleagues.   However, it is not too late for you to turn around and take heed to...

Texas Pastor Claude Gilliland III stated: 'Me and my ex-wife were in porn' and a Sex Offender

Texas Pastor Claude Gilliland III stated: 'Me and my ex-wife were in porn' and a Sex Offender

The New Heart Family Worship Center in Cleburne made a pretty unorthodox decision when the elected to have their new pastor take post at the church. The only thing is some just don't expect their new pastor to have such a jaded history, at least not in their church.

WFAA reported what has the congregation and the church community up in arms over the new pastor's past life:
“Me and my ex-wife were in porn, we were in the booze and the drugs,” said New Heart’s Senior Pastor Claude Gilliland III, who thought it appropriate to offer those very personal revelations to the congregation.
Pastor Gilliland III confronted his congregation but only after he was publicly outed as a convicted sex offender. He was recently elected just two weeks before the news hit he has a criminal past. The pastor admits the news hurt many people:
“The pain and heartache it brought to New Heart Church, I did not intend it to be this way,” Gilliland said.
WFAA reported the pastor, 54, said he served four years in prison after being convicted in 1993 for the sexual assault of his ex-wife. He still denies he did it, but he acknowledges he was no angel back then, either, and that the fast life caught up with him.
“The life I led was nothing but a juggle, and it was heartache after heartache after heartache," Gilliland said.

Many churchgoers say they wish they would have know about his past before he was elected but one supporter stands on the fact that a man with a past can be great for the church:
“All of us have a past," said Rina Ramos. "If we believe in the redemptive work of Christ, then this man is a miracle. A man with a past makes a great pastor, because he has been there."
The founder and retiring leader of the little church in Cleburne said there was no intent to hide Gilliland's past.
"There's nothing that was ever kept secret," Carl Roye said. "He said two weeks ago, 'I've got a dark, dark past, and if anybody wants to know about it, you just ask me and I'll be glad to tell you.'"
What started the rumor mill was a Cleburne newspaper published photos of registered sex offenders, including Gilliland and church members complained.
"He's asked God to forgive him. He's told us he asked God to forgive him," Roye said. "I take him at his word for it."
AT2W's Take: We say, if the man has changed his life and the church officials felt he would still be a great pastor for the church, then so be it. Not everyone has a squeaky clean background and if he is sincere about being changed for the good, then he should be given the chance to serve others. Now, it would be those who deny their past fully, even when exposed, that we should have a problem with. Unfortunately, those are the ones people follow and praise for the wrong reasons.

Portland Man Filed Sex Abuse Case by Former Pastor William Walker

A Portland man filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the United Methodist Church, claiming that he was raped by a Eugene pastor in the 1980s.

A Portland firm filed the case against the First United Methodist Church of Eugene on Wednesday, issuing a press release on behalf of the man.

The firm alleges that nearly 28 years ago the now-deceased Pastor William Walker sexually abused the plaintiff, who was 11 years old at the time.

Pastor Walker passed away in 1992 from complications related to AIDS. At the time of his death several other men in their late teens and 20s came forward saying that they had sex with the pastor.
One of the man's lawyers, Gilion Dumas, told KVAL News that her client was even younger than the other men when the alleged abuse took place.
"He was 11 years old when he was a member of the First Methodist Church … and he was involved in church activities with his pastor. Pastor Walker molested him at the church and also Camp Magruder," said Dumas.
Dumas is one of two lawyers from O'Donnell Clark & Crew LLP that will be representing the man in the lawsuit that seeks $4.5 million dollars. The Portland-based firm often represents adult victims of childhood sexual abuse that is brought against institutions.

The plaintiff said that it wasn't until recently that he could find the courage to break his silence and come forward.
“As a result of the trauma caused by childhood sexual abuse, very few sexual abuse survivors ever report what happened to them. It can be years and even decades before those who do report come forward. Simple telling their story is a huge step towards healing," said Dumas.
Dumas said that her client did not contract AIDS from Pastor Walker.

Jane Doe Says Riverside Pastor Matthias Anderson Molested Her for Years is Convicted

pastor Matthias Anderson convicted of sexual abuse

Jane Doe Says Riverside Pastor Molested Her for Years, Pastor Convicted

A woman who was only 13 years old at the time, says she was sexually assaulted by New Wine Ministries pastor Matthias Anderson. She said the sexual abuse continued for three years, she claimed in court.

The woman who remains unnamed, sued Anderson, New Wine Ministries, the Life Project Community & Family Transformation Center, and three other people: Marc Anderson, Matthias' brother and also a pastor at New Wine; Matthias Anderson's wife, and New Wine administrator Debra Flores.

The former pastor Matthias Flores was sentenced to nine years in state prison for sexually assaulting her, the girl says in the complaint.

NOTE: This is the same pastor that was arrested in November 2011 for having a sexual relationship with a 14 year old girl while her and her mother attended his church women's shelter.

The story goes this way:

Jane Doe says she met Matthias Flores in 2008, when she was 12. He became her pastor, and her mother "came to be employed by New Wine" while Matthias Flores was sexually molesting her, Doe claims in her Superior Court complaint. Does says the pastor contacted her via email, text and phone and forced himself on her in Feb. 2008.

She says her mother "became aware of sexually based messages from the perpetrator to the plaintiff" in the summer of 2010, and reported them to the other defendants and to the Murrieta Police Department.
"The messages sent by the perpetrator clearly indicated that intimate sexual contact had already taken place between plaintiff and the perpetrator and that the perpetrator was planning further encounters with her," the complaint states. "New Wine and Project Life failed to take any action to protect the minor plaintiff and allowed the perpetrator to serve as the senior pastor, all to the plaintiff's further detriment.
"In addition to the incidents set forth above, from approximately February 2008 through November 2011, the perpetrator repeatedly sexually abused and exploited plaintiff by engaging in illegal sexual contact while she was still a minor. Plaintiff was approximately thirteen (13) years old when the sexual abuse began. The perpetrator engaged in this illegal sexual contact with plaintiff on the premises of New Wine, including the physical structure the church parsonage (the perpetrator's house) as well as other locations in the County of Riverside and the County of San Diego.
"In November 2011, perpetrator was arrested for his sexual assaults on plaintiff, and subsequently sentenced to more than nine years in state prison."
We are happy the victim received some justice in the case and we pray she has been able to move forward from this ordeal.
