Married Atlanta Pastor Craig Lamar Davis Arrested for HIV Reckless Behavior on Women

Georgia church pastor Pastor Craig Lamar Davis is facing accusations of allegedly spreading HIV among his church members, namely female church members. Reports say at least two members have come forward to press charges.

Pastor Craig Lamar Davis of Full Gospel Baptist Church in Atlanta was arrested for reckless conduct after investigators discovered he was sleeping with several women in the church. Reports state Davis actually admitted to investigators that he’s HIV positive and that he willingly chose to have unprotected sex with these women.

One woman, Ronita McAfee, says she met Davis on Facebook and it wasn’t long before the two started meeting to have sex.

Black Media Scoop states:
A few months after the affair kicked off, Ronita says Davis called and told her that one of his ex-girlfriends called and said she tested positive for HIV. He told Ronita to call her doctor and that if she is positive it is not a death sentence. He also suggested some over the counter drugs she could take so that she would not get infected.

Ronita claims that after learning that the vacant house Davis had been staying in had been foreclosed and he continued to refuse to get tested, she was clear Davis was positive and she filed a police report and took out a warrant for his arrest.
NOTE: The photo below claims it is a confidential HIV test with her name listed on it but the test clearly states the results as 'negative'. What we know about HIV tests is: once you take a test, the results only covers the time up to the first test. If the test is negative, it doesn't mean the person is HIV negative. It takes 1 year or so to know your true results and this means taking another test in 6 months while NOT having unprotected sex during that time! So, we are not sure why this photo was taken except the fact that, if this is her actual test, she has proof she took a test.

Ronita was the first person to file charges against the pastor for HIV Reckless behavior in Clayton County, Georgia. Subsequently, Ronita made history as the first person to file these kind of charges against anyone in Clayton County. She asked if she could also file against him in Fulton County because she discovered another woman had fallen victim to Davis ’cunning ways. In fact, the woman, who wants to remain anonymous, was in a leadership position at the same church where Davis was a member.
She was a leader in Bishop Steven Hall ministry and Davis was his head armor barrier. This woman said she contracted HIV from Davis after being celibate for 15 years. When the victim shared her situation with her pastor, Bishop Steven Hall, he decided to remove her from her leadership position and asked Davis to leave his church.
Atlanta Police arrested Davis in the parking lot of a Wendy’s fast food restaurant after church service on July 22. He was denied bond at the first hearing  but later he was granted a $30,000 and his wife Jan posted the $3,200 to bail him out.  Investigators are still reviewing the case and believe Davis may have several more victims.
