Bishop Paul Morton Tweets His Concern of Pastor Craig Lamar Davis HIV Scandal

There appears to be more to the story about Bishop Paul Morton's concern about Full Gospel's name and the man behind the HIV sex drama in his church organization.

In part 1 of Bishop Paul Morton Expresses Concern Over Pastor Craig Lamar Davis HIV Scandal , we provided the tweets about Bishop Paul Morton's concern about this scandal that has now hit his church organization as presiding bishop of Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship.  He stated that his executive assistant's husband had HIV and now she does too. Well, out of respect for her, we won't mention her name but her husband is Pastor Craig Lamar Davis. In Bishop Paul Morton's tweets he did not mention this specifically but now we can see the connection and maybe why he mentioned it.
Our only concern is that he stated Craig Lamar Davis was not a pastor of Full Gospel but he certainly has some real affiliation with his church in regards to his staff member being married to Pastor Craig Lamar Davis.

We have now found out that another pastor has confirmed Craig Lamar Davis' affiliation with some churches in the area. Bishop Stephen B. Hall is State Bishop Of Georgia for the Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship has taken to his twitter page and expressed what he knows about this sitation and what he says is the truth about Craig Lamar Davis' affiliation with Full Gospel if any.
Take a look at the tweets below:

Bishop Paul Morton Tweets His Concern of Pastor Craig Lamar Davis HIV Scandal

The bishop is very concerned that the Full Gospel Baptist Church name is being drug in the mud over the recent news of Pastor Craig Lamar Davis and his alleged spreading of HIV to church members. Apparently, the woman, Ronita McAfree, who broke the story with her famous letter about Pastor Craig Lamar Davis has slept with Bishop Paul Morton's executive assistant's husband.

Consequently, Morton's executive assistant now has HIV as well. Bishop Paul Morton also states Pastor Craig Lamar Davis was never a pastor in Full Gospel.
Thanks to our friends at Joy 105 for the heads up. Take a look at the tweets below and what we have to say as well at the end.

AT2W's Take: We can see and it is obvious that this whole 'pastor sleeping with church members and spreading HIV' is really a hot mess! It's immoral, disgraceful and a shame before God. In the tweets, we are not really sure why Bishop Paul Morton would publicly announce that one of the women who was involved with Pastor Craig Lamar Davis now has HIV. We can respect Bishop Morton for speaking up to clear his and the Full Gospel name but maybe his assistance's personal dilemma could have been left out, out of concern for her privacy.

The only thing we believe is correct and true in this matter is his arrest, which is on record. We still can't believe this Ronita McAfee has actually told this story in a letter but we can understand it needing to come out. We are praying that all parties involved repent and restore their relationships with others and with God.

Sean Bell: Son of Pastor, Julian Cabiness Wins Settlement Against NY Police

Julian Cabiness, in connection with Sean Bell wins settlement against Queens police
 (Sean Bell - Photo: dnainfo)

The son of  Queens pastor, Rev. Caesar Cabiness received a $125,000 settlement from the city after winning a lawsuit. The suit was regarding cops who falsely arrested him in retaliation for his father speaking out about Sean Bell's death.

Julian Cabiness spent two months in jail in 2008 on what was considered a trumped-up murder charge because his father "invoked hostility from the NYPD due to his holding a memorial service for Sean Bell and due to his activism in his community regarding the Bell memorial service," according to a federal lawsuit filed in 2011, says Huff Post.

Young Cabiness accused the cops of a having a "vendetta" against his father. He said the police "effectively chilled the exercise of their First Amendment right." The city settled the suit with Cabiness on June 8.

Julian Cabiness' dad, the Rev. Caesar Cabiness, is the pastor of the Praise Tabernacle Church, which...

Two San Francisco Priests Arrested for: Drunk Driving and Indecent Exposure

Arrested: Salvatore Cordileone, archbishop-elect of San Francisco, has been accused of drink driving

Two San Francisco Priests Arrested for: Drunk Driving and Indecent Exposure

A leading Catholic bishop has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

Salvatore Cordileone, archbishop-elect of San Francisco, was stopped by police early on Saturday morning and taken into custody.

Mr Cordileone was booked into San Diego County jail two hours after being stopped and then released at 11.59am on Saturday on $2,500 bond, sheriff's records show.

He was ordered to appear in court on October 9.

Canon law experts said a criminal charge would not automatically prompt a delay in Mr Cordileone's installation as archbishop, which is scheduled to take place at St Mary's Cathedral on October 4, the feast day of San Francisco's patron saint, St Francis of Assisi.

Another priest has been arrested after authorities say he exposed himself to an undercover agent at China Camp State Park.

The Marin Independent Journal reports that 58-year-old Rev. Feliciano Mofan was being held in jail on Friday in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Supervising Ranger Ryen Goering said Mofan's arrest happened during a sting caused by an increase in reports of sexual activity.

Goering said Mofan propositioned the undercover ranger and exposed himself.

Mofan is a "priest in residence" at the Church of St. Isabella, part of the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

The archdiocese said the church is not aware of any previous illegal behavior by Mofan.

Mofan, who does not teach at parish schools, has been placed on a leave of absence. Source

AZ Pastor Jailed for Home Bible Study Now Charged with Felonies for Fraud?

We can't believe this news! (First, of all we hated to put this news on the CS Report but until we here the truth otherwise, this will have to stick.) We realize that getting health care is a challenge in these economic times but if this is true, this is shameful. Many of us have been appalled at how the city of Phoenix has treated the Salman's over the home bible study. We know he was an ex-gangster. Did he pick up his old ways again? We surely hope this gets cleared up and in his favor. We are not surprised though that while he is in jail, they would find something on him. That's how it works if they really want to punish you beyond the norm.

Read report below:

A pastor who was recently in a public battle with the City of Phoenix over home bible studies is among those accused of defrauding $118,000 from the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System.

Michael Salman, 39, and his wife Suzanne, 34, allegedly misrepresented their household income to the Arizona Department of Economic Security.

They received health insurance benefits for themselves and their children from the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System. The Salmans caused AHCCCS to pay out $73,000 for medical coverage.

Allegations claim that the pastor's brother, Frank Salman, 37, also misrepresented his income to DES between May 2007 and March 2012. He received health care coverage from AHCCCS of $45,000.

"It is unacceptable for anyone who does not legitimately need AHCCCS assistance to devise this kind of scheme that ultimately rips off taxpayers and depletes badly-needed resources for the truly need," said Horne in the release.

The state alleges that Michael Salman also submitted a false statement to the DES and AHCCCS about his employment to the National Bureau of Merchant Services. Both Salman and his wife were board members on NBMS.

The State Grand Jury indicted the Salmans' for fraudulent schemes and artifices, theft, forgery and perjury.

"My office is determined to root out and bring to justice anyone who perpetrates fraud on the state and its taxpayers," said Horne.

Michael Salman was previously in the news for his dispute with the City of Phoenix over a church in his backyard.

He was eventually sentenced to 60 days in jail after a judge determined that he was holding church services without the proper permits, and in a space with numerous code violations.
Let's keep him in our prayers.

City Harvest Church Scandal: Church to Not Use Funds to Support Kong Hee's Defense

City Harvest Church Scandal: Church to Not Use Funds to Support Kong Hee's Defense

The Channel News Asia reports City Harvest Church are not able to fund the pastor's court cases. Read below on the details:
The Commissioner of Charities (COC) said it has informed City Harvest Church that the church or its employees should not be involved in raising funds for the legal expenses of their founder and five others embroiled in the court case.
This comes amid reports that several members of the church are said to be making donations privately.
The COC had earlier issued a Restriction Order to the Board of City Harvest Church (CHC) to restrict CHC from paying the legal fees of the six accused persons or setting a specific fund for this purpose.
They are not allowed to enter into transactions relating to payment of services to the suspended individuals without the approval of the COC.
CHC's founder Kong Hee and five others have been charged with misappropriating money from the church's building fund.
Some S$24 million was allegedly transferred from the church's building fund account to two companies as bond investments.
A further sum of S$26.6 million was allegedly used to create the impression that the sham bonds had been fully redeemed, a process called round-tripping.
We like how the COC is standing up against using funds to support a pastor and his cohorts who legally used funds by the church. It only makes sense.

Catholic Priest on Placed on Leave Amid Alleged Sexual Abuse on Children

A priest from western Pennsylvania has been placed on leave while investigation of alleged sexual abuse involving children from several decades ago is ongoing.

The Catholic Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown said Friday that the Rev. George Koharchik, pastor of Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Mount Union, will not be permitted to function as a priest and won't have contact with children while he is on leave.

WJACTV.com reported: The decision is in compliance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People established by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in 2002 for addressing allegations of sexual abuse of minors by Catholic clergy.

It was stated the sexual misconduct took place in the late 1970s and the alleged victims brought it to the attention of the church.

The Cambria County district attorney has notified of the accusations by Bishop Mark Bartchak.
The Bishop had some sobering remarks about keeping the children safe and prayer for their healing as victims of abuse:
"Children are a precious gift from God, and we must always take the necessary steps to ensure their protection in the Catholic Church," said the Most Rev. Mark L. Bartchak, Bishop of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown, in the release. "I pray for the alleged victims in this case and for all children who have suffered sexual abuse in our society. May the Lord grant them healing, comfort, and peace. Let us also remember the parish family of Saint Catherine of Siena in Mount Union during these difficult days. As Diocesan Bishop, I pledge my continued prayers and support to that faith community and the entire Church of Altoona-Johnstown."
The allegations have not been elaborated on by the church.

A letter from the bishop was read to church members on Sunday.

Pastor Craig Lamar Davis Scandal: What to Consider Before You Have Sex With Your Pastor

We have to give it to our friends over at Hicktown Press. They wrote about the story circulating the web, as we did, on the arrest of Atlanta pastor Craig Lamar Davis and his charges of spreading HIV as reckless behavior to women in and out of the church.

We just posted the story yesterday and found our friends at Hicktown Press and their thoughts on the subject. We have to say we agree 100% with their analysis. Like them, we cover stories about false prophets, pulpit pimps, sexual abuse among pastors and church children, whore-munging men and women of God all of the time. It's so easy to blame the pastor or leader of the church because they should represent the purest in our communities and not the adversary they claim to pray against!
In reality, we have to look at both sides. It takes two to tangle. The old saying is true. If we don't want to be victimized, as adults there are steps we can take to avoid some things. We aren't speaking of young children and the very vulnerable of our society. We are speaking about, in particular, women in the church who will sleep with a man of God... just because??

Married Atlanta Pastor Craig Lamar Davis Arrested for HIV Reckless Behavior on Women

Georgia church pastor Pastor Craig Lamar Davis is facing accusations of allegedly spreading HIV among his church members, namely female church members. Reports say at least two members have come forward to press charges.

Pastor Craig Lamar Davis of Full Gospel Baptist Church in Atlanta was arrested for reckless conduct after investigators discovered he was sleeping with several women in the church. Reports state Davis actually admitted to investigators that he’s HIV positive and that he willingly chose to have unprotected sex with these women.

One woman, Ronita McAfee, says she met Davis on Facebook and it wasn’t long before the two started meeting to have sex.

Black Media Scoop states:
A few months after the affair kicked off, Ronita says Davis called and told her that one of his ex-girlfriends called and said she tested positive for HIV. He told Ronita to call her doctor and that if she is positive it is not a death sentence. He also suggested some over the counter drugs she could take so that she would not get infected.

Ronita claims that after learning that the vacant house Davis had been staying in had been foreclosed and he continued to refuse to get tested, she was clear Davis was positive and she filed a police report and took out a warrant for his arrest.
NOTE: The photo below claims it is a confidential HIV test with her name listed on it but the test clearly states the results as 'negative'. What we know about HIV tests is: once you take a test, the results only covers the time up to the first test. If the test is negative, it doesn't mean the person is HIV negative. It takes 1 year or so to know your true results and this means taking another test in 6 months while NOT having unprotected sex during that time! So, we are not sure why this photo was taken except the fact that, if this is her actual test, she has proof she took a test.

Ronita was the first person to file charges against the pastor for HIV Reckless behavior in Clayton County, Georgia. Subsequently, Ronita made history as the first person to file these kind of charges against anyone in Clayton County. She asked if she could also file against him in Fulton County because she discovered another woman had fallen victim to Davis ’cunning ways. In fact, the woman, who wants to remain anonymous, was in a leadership position at the same church where Davis was a member.
She was a leader in Bishop Steven Hall ministry and Davis was his head armor barrier. This woman said she contracted HIV from Davis after being celibate for 15 years. When the victim shared her situation with her pastor, Bishop Steven Hall, he decided to remove her from her leadership position and asked Davis to leave his church.
Atlanta Police arrested Davis in the parking lot of a Wendy’s fast food restaurant after church service on July 22. He was denied bond at the first hearing  but later he was granted a $30,000 and his wife Jan posted the $3,200 to bail him out.  Investigators are still reviewing the case and believe Davis may have several more victims.

Church Scandal Report Loves a Pastor Who Can Fight Against Sexual Abuse!

Gary Morgan, pastor of Cowboy Church of Ellis County
(Photo: onmission.com)
Church Scandal Report Loves a Pastor Who Can Fight Against Sexual Abuse!
We were delighted to find this article about a pastor who is sick and tired of sexual abuse on men, women and children. We get a lot of people wanting us to put the brakes on airing the dirt on pedophiles and even pastors in the church who prey on women and children. This time, its not about sexual abuse in the church, but rather a pastor who is determined to 'turn the lights on' on sexual abuse of any kind.
Read below what positive things he's doing to help those victimized from sexual abuse:
Gary Morgan, pastor of Cowboy Church of Ellis County, applauds any effort to "turn the light on" and expose sexual abuse. He recalled how, in one recent month, three adult women stopped him at the end of Sunday morning worship services, asking to talk about issues that stemmed from their abuse as children. One senior adult told him she was certain she was going to hell because of something that began happening to her as a child and continued through her teen years.

"What I never really understood before was how victims take ownership of the abuse, feeling somehow they caused it," Morgan said.

Several weeks ago, he decided to address the issue from the pulpit, talking about the everlasting damage sexual abuse can cause.

In the Old Testament, God set clear parameters for sexual conduct and attached harsh penalties to the violation of sexual boundaries, Morgan said, "because he knows what it does to the soul"—the essence of a person. Every relationship in an abuse victim's life—with parents, a future spouse, any children they have and with God—is affected, he told the congregation.

"It alters fundamentally their relationship with God, because they feel so stained, soiled, dirty, guilty and shameful that they think they must look that way to God, too," he said.

Morgan wanted victims of abuse—both female and male—in his congregation to understand they were not to blame.

"If you have been a victim of sexual abuse in your life at any time … wherever, whenever, however you were abused, it was not your fault," he said in the sermon, emphasizing that the person in a position of authority who abuses trust bears responsibility. "It is never the fault of the victim."

Morgan also addressed abusers and "bystanders"—accomplices who realize abuse occurs but seek to keep it hidden. "You've got to turn the light on. … If you choose not to disclose, the blood is on your hands," he said.

Victims of abuse feel guilt, hopelessness and isolation, he said. They need to hear someone in a position of authority acknowledge what has happened to them, pronounce it as wrong and assure them of God's love for them, he said. Morgan offered no easy answer or guarantee, but he assured victims if they disclose abuse and seek proper help, "it can get better."

Pastor Ronald Fails of Grace Church Worldwide Arrested In Prostitution Sting [UPDATE]

Pastor Ronald Fails of Grace Church Worldwide Arrested In Prostitution Sting [UPDATE]

A  pastor of Lima Ohio was arrested in a prostitution sting this week said Wednesday he is innocent and waiting his day in court.  Pastor Ronald Fails of Grace Church Worldwide Ministries said he will defend himself in court not through the media, so obviously he refuses to speak to reporters.

“I'm innocent until proven guilty,” he said what is usual when one maybe guilty, nothing new.  However, we were expecting for Pastor Fails to say I am being falsely accused and do not understand why I was arrested or something equivalent to it, not the usual defense of a guilty conscious.

Fails was one of five people arrested late Tuesday and early Wednesday in connection with a prostitution sting targeting an area of complaints between South Main and South Elizabeth streets and West Vine and West Kibby streets, said Lima Police Lt. Patrick Coon.

Fails, 53, is charged with two counts of soliciting and one count of loitering to engage in soliciting. He is scheduled to appear at an arraignment Friday at Lima Municipal Court. He was released after his arrest, Coon said.

Fails was in his car when he approached “an undercover operative” posing as a prostitute and solicited her, Coon said.

Evangelical Christians Targeted in $2.3 Million Ponzi Scheme
One man has been accused of defrauding investors of more than $2.3 million through a Ponzi scheme which targeted unsuspecting factory workers and evangelical Christians, federal authorities said.
The Securities and Exchange Commission have found Ricardo Bonilla Rojas, from Puerto Rico, raised $7 million from as many as 200 investors. The SEC stated the majority of them live in Puerto Rico and others in Florida, New York and North Carolina. (Read full complaint here.)

The alleged scheme is one of the largest uncovered in the U.S. territory, said Eric Bustillo, director of the SEC's Miami regional office.

The SEC said Bonilla marketed his company as Shadai Yire which targeted factory workers and evangelical Christian groups and promised returns of up to 50 percent.

"In reality, he was fleecing the flock," Bustillo said.

Last week, Bonilla pleaded not guilty, released on $130,000 bail and ordered to home confinement.
He is accused of stealing $700,000 for himself while running the alleged scheme from August 2005 to February 2009. Other funds were paid to people who promoted his company. In the complaint, the SEC said Bonilla, 53, never registered with the commission and that he marketed his company as an international enterprise involved in global private investments.
U.S. Attorney Rosa Emilia Rodriguez said that Bonilla solicited money supposedly for the purchase and sale of commodities including crude oil, grains, woods and metals from China and countries in Europe and South America.

Christian Brothers Have 422 Claims of Systematic Sexual Abuse on Boys for Years

Christian Brothers Have 422 Claims of Systematic Sexual Abuse on Boys for Years

There is now a final number for claims against the Christian Brothers in North America which are total number of 422 claims approved.
“We knew that more claims would come forward in the bankruptcy, and that in fact happened,” according to sources who spoke with CBC News.
“None of us could possibly know exactly how many. I think the lawyers involved certainly were all expecting more to come forward, but we would not have necessarily expected 422 claims.”
Everything changed last month, when an anonymous California man came forward and accused former Iona College President James A. Liguori of sexually abusing him at the academy in 1969. Liguori was a member of the Congregation of Christian Brothers and a teacher at the school.
That record made it stand in sharp contrast to some other Christian Brothers institutions, like the notorious Mount Cashel Orphanage in Newfoundland, where Christian Brothers were found to have systematically abused boys sexually and physically for years.
The bankruptcy case that has engulfed the group — an order of the Catholic Church — has brought an additional 422 alleged cases of abuse from across the country to light, however, and even if a large portion of those are never substantiated, the sheer number of allegations suggests that the abuse at the Christian Brothers
Many of these claims from this province go back as far as 1940 and continue into the early 1960s.
About a third of the American claims come from Washington state; another third come from New York state and the rest originate from places as scattered as New Jersey, Illinois, Montana, California
and Hawaii.

Pastor Grant Storms Charged with One Count of Obscenity for Sex Act in Park

A 55-year-old minister known for his bullhorn-amplified protests at an annual gay festival in the French Quarter has been convicted of obscenity for exposing himself while masturbating at a public park last year.

The Rev. Grant Storms, of Metairie, waived a jury trial and the case was heard by state District Judge Ross LaDart, who on Wednesday found Storms guilty of the single count of obscenity against him. He then sentenced Storms to three years of probation, citing no evidence of a criminal history.

The pastor confessed that the sex act was  a "thrill" and a "fantasy." During his confession, Rev. Storms told police he was cutting some grass in the park when he took a break to drink a beer and became "horny," the newspaper reported.

Here's how the questioning went to find out why the pastor was doing this in the park:
"Why do you go to the park and do this, as far as masturbating,” Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office Sgt. Kevin Balser asked Storms during the interview, according to the Times-Picayune.
"I don't know," Storms said. "I guess a thrill."
"So it's a thrill-slash-fantasy for you?" Balser said.
"Yes," Storms said.
Following his arrest in February, he admitted he watched pornography that day and to put his hands in his pants.

"I apologize deeply for my inappropriate, sinful actions." he said tearfully. He also stated he felt disoriented and confused.

Storms was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to receive psychological treatment.

Former Philly Church Official Charged for Stealing Over $900K From Church

We will never understand why those who are afforded the opportunity to work in a place where God dwells with the people of God, have the gall to steal from God's house. What possesses a person to do the worst of betrayal against the church.

Authorities say 42-year-old Anita Guzzardi of Haddon Neights, N.J. used hundreds of church checks to pay her credit card bills from 2005 to 2011. Officials say a call from one of the credit card companies alerted police to the scam.

Guzzardi has pleaded guilty to theft by deception, unlawful use of a computer and forgery.

Bishop Randy White Restores Lakeland Church Location For the Big 'Con'- Back

Bishop Randy White Restores Lakeland Church Location For the Big 'Con'- Back

There are probably some who were crushed when the Lakeland location for the Without Walls Central Church. We are inclined to say that though some were hurt the church location closed and ultimately was vandalized, they are many on the other end who figured: 'Good riddance'.

Either way, Randy and Paula White have an undesirable reputation for conning the people of God. It may look like Pastor Randy White is doing a good thing but its all in the name of the almighty green dollar. It will only be back to church business as usual if the Lakeland facility is reborn. We are not anticipating the next outcome of many people flocking there and giving up their hard earned money to these prosperity pulpit pimps, once again.

Here's the report from Christian Post by way of The Church Lady Blogs:
Bishop Randy White, who leads Without Walls International Church in Tampa, and a team of church members cleaned up the Lakeland facility last week with the hope of restoring the ministry there.

“[W]e cleaned up the facilities at Without Walls Central in Lakeland, FL. We repaired doors and windows, and I am so happy to let you know that today we turned the electric back on. I am believing for a revival to hit Central Florida!” White said in an email to the church last Friday.
Bishop White also told The Ledger:
"I could do backflips down the middle aisle of (Without Walls) Central, I'm so excited...It was like Christmas, sincerely, when those lights came on and the air conditioning came on and the water came on. It was like Christmas, lighting the tree."

pastor randy white and without walls central, once vandalized

(Photo: Google, AT2W, edited)

The Lakeland church (which seats 9,000) has been closed since last August and the electricity was disconnected because of missed payments, according to a report last year by The Ledger. At that time, White had told The Ledger that the property was either going to be sold or go into foreclosure.

Without Walls International had bought the property, formerly Carpenter’s Home Church, in 2005 as it was experiencing fast growth. But the church began to struggle in 2007. The founders of Without Walls, Randy and Paula White, divorced; the couple was among six televangelists being probed by the Senate for possible misuse of their nonprofit status; and some of the church staff turned on the Whites and went to the media with their complaints, accusing the couple of focusing on money and fame.
Randy White returned to the pulpit of the Tampa megachurch in June to help his ex-wife lead the church while she continues to preach at New Destiny.

In the weeks that he’s been preaching at Without Walls, Randy White has announced that the church’s debt was being reduced and that they plan to build a new sanctuary in Tampa with the money earned from a piece of property that is being sold.

He also stated that he plans to rebuild and restore the megachurch and its campus in Lakeland and bring revival to the surrounding cities.
“What we’re doing is trying to go forward with Lakeland and this church and we’re asking everyone to get behind the vision,” White said in a sermon this month.
He told The Ledger that once the fire inspector approves permission for occupancy in the facility, he plans to make more repairs and start preaching in early September.

Junction City Minister's Son Jordan Young Arrested Twice on Sexual Abuse of Children

Pastor's son Jordan Young arrested

Junction City Minister's Son Jordan Young Arrested Twice on Sexual Abuse of Children

People wonder why we do what we do. Well, we do so because we have perverted spirits in the church that can't receive nor live by the word they preach!! When people tell us to be quiet and not air the dirty laundry of men and women of the cloth, we keep moving even stronger.

A Junction City man has been arrested for alleged sex crimes involving children.

Jordan Young, 25, a minister of music in Junction City, was taken into custody at the Junction City Police Department at 11:30 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012.

According to Junction City Police Chief Tim Brown, Young was arrested for:
  • aggravated indecent liberties with a child
  • attempted criminal sodomy
  • and solicitation of a child
Last week, Police Chief Brown confirmed his department is investigating information they received about a local church and this led to Young's arrest. This investigation that is still underway.

Though the police will not release the name of the church due to the sensitivity of the crimes, sources say the church in question is Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church on Burke Drive in Junction City where Jordan Young is reportedly the minister of music and he also worked in the youth ministry.

Jordan Young is the son of former Faith Tabernacle pastor Edwin Young, who reportedly recently resigned very abruptly.

The church’s new pastor, Nathan Dudley, said he could not comment on any allegations and says he has only been the pastor for several days.

Jordan Young made his first court appearance and is bond was set at $250,000. Geary County Attorney says Young has been ordered to surrender his passports and is not allowed to have contact with anyone under the age of 21. A status hearing has been set for August 21, 2012 at 9 AM.

UPDATE on August 24, 2012: Consequently, we just found out that Jordan Young was arrested for a second time in the same week on August 17.

Junction City Police Chief Tim Brown is confirming the arrest of Jordan Young, 25, Junction City for a second time this week.

Young had already been arrested August 13 on suspicion of aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, and sexual solicitation of a child. He has since been re-arrested and incarcerated a second time on suspicion of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, attempted criminal sodomy, and solicitation of a child, again.

During the police ongoing investigation, it was found to be necessary to arrested Young once again on more charges.

The church's new pastor Dudley now states:
"At this time, all that we can say is that there were allegations of misconduct that were presented to us and we immediately turned the information that we had received over to the proper authorities and they began a very thorough investigation of their own which we are fully cooperating with."

pastor edwin young resigns after son is arrested

Take a listen to Pastor Edwin Young's audio of one of his sermons. Here is an excerpt of what the Youtube video owner said about the clip:
Clip from a sermon by Edwin Young, former pastor of Faith Tabernacle Church, Junction City, KS. It is a 5 minute example of him preaching, where he speaks of not saying anything about a pastor unless it is good, obeying the pastor as he rules, better leave your preacher alone, and you aren't above the pastor.

Pastor Jim Carr Shot and Killed by Burglar in North Carolina

Saints of God, we have got to do more than just fast and pray, it is time for all churches to come in agreement against demonic forces trying to control the body of Christ with sin.
We are not insinuating that Pastor Jim Carr was in a life of sin, what we are referring to are the sinful laws being condoned in the country and now many pastors opposing God's Word to be followers of this world, instead of leaders within God's Kingdom, strictly for...Read full article, here.

Rev. Angel Armando Perez Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Young Boy Gets Loan From Archdiocese for Defense

The Archdiocese of Portland has offered an open-ended loan to the Rev. Angel Armando Perez to cover legal fees as he fights an accusation that he fondled a 12-year-old boy.

The Oregonian reported, Archbishop John G. Vlazny approved the loan to Rev. Perez last week. The police said Perez chased a 12-year-old boy down a Woodburn street early while dressed only in his underwear.

The boy told investigators he ran from the minister's house while Perez chased after him. The boy said a nearby bystander gave him a ride to his sibling's house early the next morning.

The 46-year-old parish priest of St. Luke Catholic Church appeared in court on accusations of:
  • sexual abuse
  • abuse of a child in the display of sexually explicit conduct
  • furnishing alcohol to a minor
  • and driving under the influence

The boy told authorities the priest gave him a beer and Perez also fondled him. He says he doesn't remember what happened after he and the boy watched a movie. Court documents filed after Perez's arrest say the boy awoke to camera flashes and thinks the priest was taking photos of him.

The director of the Survivor Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP), David Clohessy, said the church will cover the cost of defense for priests "in the overwhelming majority of cases," but it's usually not called a loan.

"I don't think they've ever called it a loan and, frankly, we think that's pretty disingenuous," Clohessy said. "On a priest's salary, there's virtually no chance that it'll ever be repaid, especially if he's found guilty."

The offer to cover Perez's defense costs was likely a strategic move, Clohessy said.

"We suspect the goal here is to intimidate others who were hurt by Father Perez or other clerics into staying silent or settling quietly," Clohessy said. "The signal he's sending is, 'Don't think this is going to be easy.'"
Rev. Perez has hired a prominent Portland attorney named Marc Blackman, who has handled a several high-profile cases.

Ontario Youth Pastor Arrested on Befriending a Teen Online For Sex While HIV Positive

This report is disturbing because the youth pastor not only was trying to lure a teen on the internet for sex but was HIV positive as well. This tells a story that the teacher has no regard for the health of others and doesn't mind putting a young boy's life at risk because of his lust and evil intent.
Read report below for the details:

A former Saskatoon youth pastor, Kris Allan Gowdy who tested positive for HIV, has been arrested in Ontario for allegedly trying to lure a 15 year old boy over the internet for sex.

Police allege Kris Gowdy befriended a 15 year old boy online then set up a location where they were to meet for sex. Police say the "boy" was actually an undercover officer and Gowdy was taken into custody. Police say that during the last decade he has held that position in a number of churches across Canada and the U.S., including Lakeview Church in Saskatoon.
Investigators are concerned there may be more victims nationwide including here in Saskatoon. Kris Gowdy, 42, worked until July of this year as a youth pastor at the Lakeview Church in Saskatoon from June 2011 to July 2012. Church officials say there were no complaints about him from the congregation.
Gowdy admitted to having been diagnosed with HIV. They allege he used the profile name "college toy 20-33" on a number of social media sites.
The church has brought in counselors to provide support for youth and families in the congregation.
"At the moment the primary concern of our church is our people, especially the youth in our care. We are focusing all of our time and attention on looking after our families," said Stark.
Investigators are concerned there may be other victims. Saskatoon police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Philadelphia Judge Dismisses Sexual Assault Charges of Roman Catholic Priest

Rev. Andrew McCormick sexual assault charges dismissed

Philadelphia Judge Dismisses Sexual Assault Charges of Roman Catholic Priest

It's pretty astonishing a judge would throw out these charges but the fight must go on and hopefully justice may be served.

A judge Thursday dismissed felony sexual assault charges against a Roman Catholic priest arrested in July on allegations of sexually abusing a 10-year-old boy in 1997.

A Philadelphia Municipal Court Judge Karen Yvette Simmons dismissed felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and sexual assault charges against Andrew McCormick, 56.

According to the Philadelphia district attorney’s office, the case is still remanded for trial on the misdemeanor charges of indecent assault, corrupting the morals of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child.

The district attorney’s office plans to re-file the felony charges against McCormick as well as file an appeal to determine if the felony charges should have been properly held for court based on the alleged victim’s testimony.
“The Commonwealth is very confident that all the felony charges will be reinstated and McCormick will then be sent to trial in the Court of Common Pleas on all charges,” Tasha Jamerson, district attorney spokeswoman said in a statement.
McCormick befriended the former altar boy, now 25, while he was a pastor St. John Cantius Church in Bridesburg, Pa., District Attorney Seth Williams said in July following his arrest. The man alleged that the abuse occurred in the church rectory and involved one incident of “sexual contact", when the victim was 10 years old.
“It was a huge win today,” said defense attorney William J. Brennan. “I believe his (complaining witness) motives are suspect. Father McCormick has overwhelming support from the community. He’s innocent until proven guilty.”
President of the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, Barbara Blaine, expressed disappointment that the felony charges were dropped.
“It’s tempting to be complacent, do nothing, and assume that McCormick will get convicted on the remaining charges. But that’s irresponsible. We must all do all that we can to protect kids. Every single victim, witness and whistleblower must summon the strength and step forward so that predators will be kept from children,” Blaine said in a statement.
In March of 2011, McCormick was one 21 priests placed on administrative leave by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in response to a grand jury report.

McCormick was arrested after he was taken into custody outside of Philadelphia, where he was living with his parents. He was released on $150,000 bail.
In December of 2011, the complainant reported the alleged incident to the police department’s Special Victims Unit after seeing news coverage of the sexual abuse scandals at Penn State and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, said Police Capt. John Darby of the Special Victims Unit.

McCormick’s arrest in July came in the wake of the landmark priest sexual abuse trial in Philadelphia, the result of a 2011 grand jury report that led to criminal charges against three Philadelphia priests and a parochial school teacher for allegedly raping and assaulting boys in their care, and charges against Monsignor William Lynn who was accused of allowing the priests to have access to children.

Joyce Meyer Ministries Wants Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Them Dropped in Chris Coleman Murder Case

We realize that Joyce Meyer may not want to be a part of this or called as the blame for what happened in this case, but this may be a wake up call for them to handle their employees domestic issues much differently in the future.
Read report below:

Joyce Meyer Ministries has defended itself against allegations that it was in any way responsible for the deaths of a former employee's family. A legal representative for the ministry made the assertions to a judge on Wednesday at Monroe County Courthouse in Waterloo.
"He did a terrible thing, but it had nothing to do with Joyce Meyer," said Mike King, a lawyer working for Joyce Meyer Ministries, according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Christopher Coleman serving 3 life sentences for murdering his family

The case concerns Christopher Coleman, the ministry's former bodyguard and security chief, who orchestrated a six-month plot where he allegedly sent death threats to his own family to try and create the persona of a "deranged phantom killer." On May 5, 2009, the bodies of his wife and two pre-teen sons were found dead in their home in Columbia, Ill. Two years later, Coleman was convicted of three counts of first degree murder.
Joyce Meyer Ministries is now asking for a wrongful death suit against it to be thrown out, insisting that it should not be forced to take any of the blame for the horrific incident.
The family of the victims, however, is saying that Coleman's employers should have known he was sending the letters, and they should have warned Sheri Coleman about her husband's unstable condition.
Christopher Coleman was also reportedly having an affair, which authorities have said may have been a factor in the murders. It has been suggested that he wanted to avoid divorce by killing his family so he could start a new life with his partner in Florida.
Frankly, the ministry should not have so much involvement in their employees personal affairs. If Christopher Coleman was seeking a divorce, they should offer a choice of counseling for restoration but not be forced out of his job because he won't reconcile with his wife. This was a huge factor in his mindset at the time. This, we believe was the problem and if the ministry had kept their hands out of his person affairs, the family may still be alive today.

AT2W's Dear Mr. Preacher, Blogging Ain’t Easy

Note: We wish not to offend anyone that reads this but it must be addressed.

We wanted to address many people who think that bloggers are only lonely busy bodies that don't have anything else to do but talk about people, especially the church and pastors. Contrary to popular belief, blogging is not only a form of free speech and therapy but its an outlet to express personal views of what is important to many people in the world.

Dear Mr. Preacher, The Truth is Blogging Ain't Easy

Many of us like our team here at AT2W, have a true passion for the love of God and how we all can exemplify that love into obedience to Jesus Christ which ultimately pleases Him. Our whole goal whether many agree or not, is to reveal and unveil the truth behind little dirty deeds inflicted on the body of Christ- young and old. It is our goal and mission to inform the world and those who will listen to be aware and perhaps beware of pulpit counterfeiters in sheep's clothing.

If you hear us talk about how one preacher was caught molesting children, another sleeping with prostitutes or another preaching the word of God for pure financial gain, then you should know that people need to know. People need to know that these things happen in the church and frankly, its all too well and alive amongst many men and women of the cloth.

The Black Church and Sexual Abuse: New Movie Discusses The Disturbing Subject

It is about time we see a movie, dealing with the reality of young black boys being molested by a minister in the black church.  Of course, so far we have found Bishop T. D. Jakes movies interesting, but it does not seem like he or any other producer has touched the subject of preachers molesting boys in the black church.  Close as Jakes came to it was in His first movie, 'Woman Thou Art Loosed' when the girl was molested by her mother's boyfriend.   Most importantly, the question must be asked, will this movie, Wolf, stop preachers, pastors, bishops, evangelists or even ministers of music from molesting black boys in the church?

Shreveport Pastor Andre Lewis Arrested for Sexual Molestation of Girl for 9 Years

his guy should remind us of a lot of low down men not only in the pulpits of some black churches, but also our others in our family or neighborhood who try and enslave us, just because they feel they have some sort of authority.   You can tell by looking at him, he is has some sort of demonic stronghold and it's got to be lust.   Pastor Andre Lewis has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old girl until she was 24-years-old.  Allegedly, he made promises of making her a singer, possibly because he thought he was a superstar himself as you will see in the below photo.   Pastor Andre Lewis deceived this young lady when she was a young teen and he thought she would never tell it, but once she felt he may have had other women, she had to turn him in.

Southern California Pastor Accused of Sexually Abusing 2 Young Girls

This is so sad, what has become of the black church where people are supposed to be getting delivered and set free?  Suddenly, even if these pastors have done their dirt years ago, their skeletons are being revealed and it looks very ugly.   We have so many preachers in the black church caught in the act of molesting young boys and girls, we cannot keep up with the stories. This case, involves a whooping preacher by name of Rev. Anthony Smith.   He sounds like an old fashion preacher that moves along with the drum beat and organ tune every second during his ermon, but behind it all,  he has allegedly molested two teen girls, one a 29 year-old relative when she was 17 years old and the other one is 17, but is allegedly occurred when she was only 11 years old.

Minister of Music and R&B Singer Accused of Tasering Pastor Is Acquitted of Charges [UPDATE]

So, what was the church thinking when they hired a R&B singer for their music director? Didn't they know this was unequally yoked from the start?

And what were they doing with knifes and a taser in the church as if they had planned this horrific brawl?

Read the full report below from AT2W's archives from Aug. 2011:

There are epic Taser incidents and then there's this: An R&B singer and former candidate for one of Alabama's U.S. Senate seats, Simone De Moore, up until last Sunday was the music director at New Welcome Baptist Church in St. Elmo, Alabama. He was fired by Reverend Riley and, according to Moore's mother, Agolia, "They owed him. He asked them for his money."

An argument broke out and, like any God-fearing man inside a house of worship, Simone De Moore pulled out a Taser and fried the pastor. That's when things spiraled out of control: "I said, 'oh my god he done cut me!"

Polk County Church Administrator Wanted for Arrest in Embezzlement of His Employer

Investigators with the Polk County, Florida Sheriff's Office have issued an arrest warrant for a former church administrator who allegedly pilfered funds from his employer. Durfey was fired as church administrator after an employee found documents in his wastebasket showing suspicious ATM activity, Senior Pastor Jim Rogers said Saturday.

A former church administrator named Oliver ‘Dan' Durfey is facing a variety of charges including scheming to defraud and grand theft.

There has been a warrant issued but deputies have been unable to locate the 54-year-old so far.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the former church employee committed the alleged crimes over a 26-month period beginning in April 2010. Investigators say Durfey was employed by the First Baptist Church of Poinciana, located in Polk County.

Investigators say the suspect used church funds for personal use and obtained a debit card which Durfey used to purchase over $56,000 in goods and services.

Durfey's position in the church gave him access to two of the church's checking accounts and a savings account.

Furthermore, investigators say Mr. Durfey used church funds to pay for two booths at political venues during his campaign. Investigators say they found he is a candidate for clerk of the court in Osceola County. Durfey is one of four Republicans on Tuesday's primary ballot.

Durfey made claims on his on-line Campaign Treasurer's Report, stating he took out two personal loans totaling $10,000. The church has confirmed from bank records that indicate those particular funds came from their accounts and not the suspects. Source

Florida Church Media Director Arrested For Luring Kids Online for Foot Fetish

Florida Church Media Director Arrested For Luring Kids Online for Foot Fetish

The St. Petersburg man reportedly placed 17 ads over three years on Craig’s list in search of ripe ladies foot-ware to satisfy his foot fetish. The ads, that mostly say he wants to smell the feet of women, include one that allegedly ran in March that said: ”Seeking to worship sneakers.”
Report says:

As a 13-year-old, Raymond Roland Collette allegedly plotted for two years to steal a girl's sneakers, according to his psychiatrist’s 1985 report to police. It seems there were other girls back then who reported their footwear disappearing. According to his psychiatrist, young Collette put rusty nails in one girl's sneaker, placed it on her lawn and told her where it was in a phone call.
In a recent exchange, resulting from one of his Craigslist ads, he posed as "April Love," a woman wanting to pay for the opportunity to smell someone's sneakers, reported the paper. A female respondent to his ad told "April Love" that she had a 4-year-old girl. Collette allegedly told the unidentified woman that he wished to worship the girl while she wore her sneakers, the paper reported.

Collette then allegedly sent her a picture of the daughter of a female church member stolen from her Facebook page, saying it was his 10-year-old niece. Next, “she” offered to "trade children sometime," court records cited by the paper said.

The lady immediately notified the Pinellas County Sheriff's office. Deputies assumed her online identity and began a sting operation. It didn't take long for Collette to start talking of having sex with the child, the paper reported.

Vatican Judge Orders Pope's Butler and Secretary of State to Stand Trial

A Vatican judge on Monday ordered the pope's butler and a fellow lay employee is being ordered by a Vatican judge to stand trial for the alleged pilfering of documents from Pope Benedict XVI's private apartment. This scandal has brought about embarrassment that exposed power struggles and purported corruption at the Holy See's highest levels.

The butler, Paolo Gabriele, was arrested at the Vatican in May on a grand theft charge that could have him face six years in jail. It has been stated the pope could pardon his former butler after any conviction.

Gabriele was also accused of taking a check for (EURO)100,000 (about $125,000) made out to Benedict and donated by a Spanish Catholic university from the papal quarters.

We have reported previously that the Vatican had insisted throughout the investigation that Gabriele was the only person under investigation, the indictment also orders trial for Claudio Sciarpelletti, a 48-year-old computer expert in the Secretariat of State office charged with aiding and abetting the butler.

Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi told reporters that a three-judge panel would try the two defendants together. No date was set for the trial, which will be open to reporters, but Lombardi said it would start at the very earliest in late September, after the court returns from summer break.

Pastor Murdered By Daughter's Boyfriend After He Warned Him to Stop Dating Her

In May, many residents could not hold back tears in Lagos, as a pastor was killed by his daughter’s lover over amorous relationship.

Pastor  Dan Ahamefuna was said to have warned his daughter’s lover, Okechukwu to stop dating her (name withheld). Okechukwu allegedly killed the man of God by pulling his manhood.

A police source at Itire Police Station disclosed that Ahamefula had earlier condemned Okechukwu’s relationship with his daughter ungodly.
A man who identified himself simply as Adekunle alleged that all appeals made by Ahamefula to Okechukwu to allow peace to reign proved abortive as the man continued the affair with the girl.
Adekunle alleged that the pastor also offered an alternative which included that the heartthrob should relocate from his present residence at Karounwi Street, Itire, to elsewhere. He also wanted the man to marry his daughter officially instead of committing fornication with her.
The man of God allegedly saw the lovebirds together and went to meet the man. A quarrel which degenerated into physical combat ensued. The girl’s lover was alleged to have grabbed the manhood of the man of God and pulled it.
A witness, simply identified as Kennedy alleged that the pastor screamed and shouted Jesus several times before he collapsed and died.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead. Immediately the lover man heard that the pastor has died, he took to his heels and went into hiding. As at the time of filing this report, the policemen attached to Itire Division were still searching for him.
One of the residents, told Daily Sun that the pastor was not actually against the man marrying his daughter. He said the pastor wanted it done in a godly manner, because he was not comfortable with the idea of sex before marriage which young men and women indulge in.
