Mobile Pastor Stanley Porter Sentenced to 10 Years For Sexual Assault on a Teen

Fox News reports:
A local pastor was sentenced to a decade behind bars for sexually abusing a teenage boy.
Stanley Porter was sent to prison Thursday. Porter was convicted of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy he was supposed to be mentoring said Assistant District Attorney Nicki Patterson. Patterson with the Mobile County District Attorney's Office said Porter sodomized the boy following a choir rehearsal at Friendship Church in Mobile.
Patterson said the attack happened around Christmas in 2009. According to reports, the victim was 15 at the time and was cleaning up in the church after the choir rehearsal that brought people from other area churches together for choir.
According to testimony at the trial, the 15-year-old victim had stayed behind after a singing rehearsal at Friendship Baptist Church on Dec. 12, 2009. He testified that Porter offered to give him a ride home and then sodomized him.
Porter was pastor of Fellowship Church in Eight Mile. Porter was fired from Calloway Smith Middle School in 2003 after he was arrested and charged with sexually abusing a male student.
